LORAIN COUNTY HOT STOVE (LCHS) BASEBALL
**This league is geared to a more experienced, competitive, and committed baseball player.
Lorain County Hot Stove (LCHS) will likely field multiple Olmsted Falls-based teams per the following age groups: 5/6u, 7/8u, 9u, 10u, 11/12u, and 13/14u. The yearly cutoff is the child’s age on May 1, 2025. Participation in these teams includes indoor practices at the Stallions facility in Valley City, starting in January, usually every-other Saturday afternoon/evening. Games begin in early May through July. Uniforms are a separate cost and will be purchased by the player directly from Ryco in the future.
Olmsted Travel Baseball Association (OTBA) is a non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Ohio. Its purpose is to provide an opportunity for players to participate in a more competitive level of baseball than what a community recreation program offers. OTBA is designed to participate in competitive travel baseball leagues. While the program promotes a higher level of baseball, the intent is to create a positive experience for both players and parents.
Early-bird registration opens October 15th and runs through November 24th. Regular registration is open through December 8th, but may be extended if a given team needs additional players to field a full roster. Roster spots are first-come, first-served. If a given team is already full, don't panic, but please enter your name on the Waitlist (no charge) and call your friends - every effort will be made to field full teams and include all interested players within reasonable roster sizes.
Further updates will be posted on OTBA social media pages. You can also contact Brett Iafigliola at hotstove@olmstedtravelbaseball.com for more information
