Policy & Procedures

The Olmsted Community Center reserves the right to cancel any activity, program or event based on insufficient registrations, supervision or facilities.  All activities, programs or events will either be rescheduled or fees refunded.

All classes have a minimum number of participants in order to be conducted.  If a class minimum is not met by the deadline date, an activity might be canceled.  Please register at least 7 days prior to the beginning of the activity.

Registration fees are non-refundable, the only exceptions are:

  • If a program is canceled by Olmsted Community Center due to insufficient registrations, supervision or facility.
  • If the registrant must withdraw for medical reasons.  A doctor's note will be required.  All medical refunds will be prorated to deduct a $5.00 processing fee.  Refunds by check can take anywhere between 4 - 6 weeks.

If you are a first time user you will need to create your own account by clicking on the register button.  After you have registered your household you will be able to go and select what program you want to participate in.  Please feel free to contact us for technical support or any other question you have about the online registration.

During inclement weather Olmsted Community Center and its programs/classes will maintain normal operating hours unless directed otherwise by management and as long as instructors and staff are available.  Generally, if Olmsted Falls Community Schools are CLOSED due to weather, Olmsted Community Center will CLOSE also.  If a decision is made to cancel programs / classes or to close the office we will post it on the OCC Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/olmstedcommunitycenter) and on the OCC's website as soon as possible.  Although we strive to give early notice of cancellations, various circumstances could affect our ability to notify the public in a timely manner.  We only provide updates when cancellations have been made.
