Programs

Olmsted Falls Wrestling offers a boys and girls youth program for kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade. The season will take place from November 2024 through February 2025. Practice will be held at Olmsted Falls High School.

Youth wrestling is an excellent way to improve physicality, hand eye coordination, agility and footwork. It is also a great way to teach kids the value of hard work in a fun instructional environment often utilizing games to teach the fundamentals. The skills learned in the wrestling room will translate to all other sports and the classroom. Our program welcomes varied levels of experience. Your athlete will be placed in an appropriate section (rookie, advanced or varsity) and will have the option to attend several practices. The Ohio High School Athletic Association sanctioned Girls wrestling two years ago. In 2023 we had 22 female wrestlers in our youth program and will offer a girl only practice. Girls will also have the option to attend the coed practices.

There will be 4-6 competitions from December - February at North Olmsted High School that are encouraged but optional to attend within our OYWA league. There are many other open tournaments wrestlers will have the opportunity to attend. Our varsity team will be pursuing the OAC state tournament route.

Early Bird Registration will begin on September 1st at $110 per wrestler with a $20 discount for siblings ($90, $70). It will be increased to $130 (sibling discount $110 and $90) on October 1st and registration will conclude November 1st. Don't delay, sign up today!
